Wholesome Mocha

I love starting my day with this protein shake. I drink half first thing, and half mid morning, and it gives me loads of energy to get through my morning workout, plus the protein I need for a speedy recovery. At the moment I am loving Bare Blends Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder- its full of healthy fats that give a sustained energy release, and helps you feel full for longer, and it contains maca which is a great hormone balancing food. 



  • 1-2 scoops raw vegan chocolate protein powder, or alternatively raw cacao powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 shot organic coffee
  • 1 tbsp hemp or pumpkin seeds
  • Ice
  • Water


Blend until smooth

Serving Suggestion:


I blend up a protein smoothie and a green smoothies each morning, and store them in these glass mugs so I can snack on them throughout the day. This is a great way to boost your nutrition and ensure you get loads of antioxidants and healthy fats in your diet, and it stops you from craving junk food.
