Superfood Hot Chocolate

I always have healthy chocolate making ingredients on hand for when cravings strike- this way i can indulge AND nourish at the asme time!

  • 60g raw chocolate Liqueur
  • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond or rice milk
  • 1-2 tbsp Maple syrup, rice malt syrup, or coconut sugar to taste
  • 1 tsp maca powder, optional

Method: Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and gently bring to a simmer. Use a bar mix to blend and froth up the milk. Taste and adjust sweetness to your linking. Serve in mugs with a shaving of chocolate.

Tip: raw choc liqueur is made with 100% cacao bean, if you can not find it swap for 85-90% chocolate, which is usually dairy free and available at the supermarket.
