Secret Spice Wedges

There’s nothing like a big bowl of baked potato to bring some comfort to the family table! Here is one of my fav spice mixes that goes really well with all baked meats and vegetables.

Spice mix Ingredients: IMG_1115

  • 1 tsp each fennel, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt*
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch of white or black pepper

*Fast Track- use ground spice powders. Fun- grind the seeds into a spice mix in a mortar and pestle.

Wedges:

  • Sweet potatoes, potatoes or pumpkin- or a mix
  • Olive or coconut oil

Method:

Preheat oven to 200C. Cut veg into desired shape, toss with oil and spice mix. Bake on a tray lined with non-stock paper until golden, tossing if needed.

Great for grilled, baked or BBQ meats too! :)
