Ingredients:

Sesame power Balls
  • 1 375g jar organic unhulled tahini
  • 1 cup blanched almond meal
  • 1/2 cup preservative free desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2tbsp of raw organic honey- or to taste
  • 2 heaped tsp pure vanilla extract- or to taste

Plus Extra for rolling:

  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Taste and add more vanilla or sweetness if desired, remembering the less honey you need to add the healthier they are – and the more you can eat! ;).

2. Roll into bite size balls, then roll into the sesame and coconut coating.

3. Set in the fridge or freezer.

Serving Suggestions:

For a fudgey chocolate twist- switch the tahini for your preferred nut butter- i love cashew or almond- add extra coconut in place of sesame seeds, and add some raw cacao to taste. Get your hands in there if needed to combine smoothly. Adjust sweetness and vanilla to desired taste if needed. Roll in coconut. Set in fridge or freezer. Tastes like Oreo balls YUM!

*If you have a food processor or high speed blender, grinding down your own almonds is more economical than using almond meal.
