Brain boosting Smoothie!

Boosting your smoothies with an abundance of brain super foods is always a great idea!! ;) Here is one of my fav combos…

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds- the greener the better!
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds or chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp raw walnuts- freshly cracked if possible
  • 1 tbsp your fav clean vegetarian protein powder
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • vanilla, optional
  • water
  • ice

Method: Place all ingredients in a blender with enough water to make a smoothie consistency, and enough ice to make icy cold. Blend until really smooth.

Suggestions:

Of course you can vary with your fav fruit, nuts and seeds :)
