Boosting your smoothies with an abundance of brain super foods is always a great idea!! Here is one of my fav combos…
- 1 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds- the greener the better!
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds or chia seeds
- 1 tbsp raw walnuts- freshly cracked if possible
- 1 tbsp your fav clean vegetarian protein powder
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1 frozen banana
- vanilla, optional
Method: Place all ingredients in a blender with enough water to make a smoothie consistency, and enough ice to make icy cold. Blend until really smooth.
Of course you can vary with your fav fruit, nuts and seeds
